Im looking for a good gaming monitor at 1440p and 144hz with G-sync(not sure about g-sync) I was considering the Asus ROG Swift PG278Q but ive read a lot of bad reviews about the colors ,viewing angle and also dead pixes and other problems on arrival and it got me thinking...So is it worth it?

My spects are:
i7 6700k
Asus Z170-DELUXE
EVGA GTX 980Ti SC

Hmm thats true! Can you suggest me some 1440/144 monitors with or without g-sync! Also is g-sync worth? because if i get a high end GPU and my screen has 1ms and i dont think it will do much of a difference on the responce time!

The problem is that at my country i dont have many options!! For example the acer predetor or the overlord isnt available!! Also i want a 2k monitor! And i did a research about TN and IPS and i prefer IPS because im not a hardcore fps gamer and im more into rpg/mmo!!

I totally get what you're saying, but if you check any review of the AOC G-sync from either tech sites or even customer reviews you'll see everyone talk about how nice the colors are which was a huge bonus on top of everything else the screen does.

I've spent hundreds of hours playing RPG's like DA:I and Witcher 3 on this screen and everything looks great, being able to go above 60FPS/HZ is liberating and the motion clarity is just smooth as butter. I actually wasn't expecting colors and blacks to be so good, even after multiple mentions from all the reviews. It's also a TomsHardware favorite.

IPS is cool and pretty much all my other devices have it like phones/tables/work computer so I am aware of how nice they are but if you're a gamer who wants the best without paying through the roof this is your best choice. Still want 2k/3k/4k resolution? Nvidia DSR has you covered. My gamer and non-gamer friends have commented on how nice it looks both inside and outside of games, just my 2 cents/last year of bliss =)
