Will i be able to support the Intel 730 Series NVMe PCIe card model SSDPEDMW012T4R5 with a BIOS update to version 1702 for my ASUS X99-A motherboard from the site https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/X99A/HelpDesk_Download/ to gain NVMe support or does the compatiablity list on https://pcdiy.asus.com/2015/04/asus-z97-x99-motherboards-intel-750-series-nvme-ssds-all-you-need-to-know/ published on Apirl 9, 2015 not listing it under the X99 compatablity list for Intel 750 SSDs using the newest BIOS while http://www.guru3d.com/news-story/asus-x99-and-z97-motherboards-support-nvm-express-devices.html says using BIOS version 1702 the ASUS X99-A board will be able to run NVMe storage devices which came out on Apirl 15, 2015 so should i assume that the latest BIOS update enabled the board to be able to do so? Should i be concerned that it is not on the list of Intel tested motherboards for thier SSD 750 Series tested motherboards list? The intel forum post for this of https://communities.intel.com/thread/62535 is confusing even though not made by me about about the ASUS x99-ws board. This is all which i could find on it though and everything points in diffenret directions also i do not have the money to buy to spare for the SATA III version if the NVMe one that i want to use is not compatablitle with what i have.

My system is as follows:
Motherboard: ASUS X99-A ( some how i was convinced by someone this was all that i "wanted / needed" at the time of purchase last year.... )
CPU: i7-5930K and it is water cooled with a AStek 510LC CPU Cooling System unit
RAM: 32 DDR4-2133MHz
GPU: GTX 980 from EVGA unsure which one though
SSD 1: Samsung 850 Pro 128GB
SSD 2: Samsung 850 Pro 512GB
CD/DVD/Blu-ray: LG HL-DT-ST BD-RE WH14NS40 drive

Solution
I have the X99-E WS and prior to installing the 750 I updated the BIOS with the latest release and post that update the board recognized the drive and confirmed NVMe was supported. Installation of the OS went smoothly post that process I didn't make any changes to the UEFI.

There's a few videos (Intel and PC Paper) that talk about installing the 750 worth checking out. I don't see why your board would act differently since NVMe support was released for the X99 chipset.
