Is battlefield 1 really that cpu intensive?

I have a xeon x5647 (4c8t 3ghz westmere, performs close to a Non-K haswell i5) paired with a msi r9 290 i am not having any bottlenecks in games that use all 8 threads (most of them max out my cpu aswell 90-100% usage, and my gpu usage hovers around 70-80%) with games that only use 4 threads. I have read alot about Bf1 being incredibly cpu intensive, (overclocked i5's are being maxed out for with a r9 380x) The question is, will i have a huge bottleneck with BF1 or do you guys think that i will be fine? I am considering not buying the game because of this

Battlefield 1 uses all 8 threads in multiplayer, but is effectively fine with relatively powerful quad core processors. Most modern Intel quad core CPU's are fine.

Your CPU is as fast as the FX-6350 minimum requirement. Your video is better than the recommended. As long as you have 8GB's of RAM should Run the game fine.

I get 60 to 80 fps in multiplayer with all six cores in my fx 6300 at 80 pc. 100 pc GPU usage. On RX 480.

Heard new drivers r better did not try yet.

It's worth noting BF1 DX12 has some issues, so that may be part of the problem. Still, any recent i5 should be plenty.
