Is Battlefield 4 going to be out on steam?

I was wondering when the summer steam sales are on in July, is BF4 going to be available. People say that it isn't going to be available because it's EA, and EA has Origin. But if that's the case, why is Battlefield Bad Company 2 on there? Well my question is actually, Is BF4 going to be available on the Steam summer sale in 2014.

Do not think it will be coming to Steam it is a Origin only game as far as I understand it. And I really do not see the need for it to be on Steam it works just fine on Origin.

Origin is crap, but EA would never allow Valve to put one of their games on the steam platform. When you're as big and as greedy as EA, you will force garbage like Origin upon your customers, just so you don't have to shell out small sales cuts to a retail platform like steam. So in short no, there haven't been recently and most likely will never be anymore EA titles on steam.

How come there is BFBC2 in steam?

because it an older game it cause out on 2010 and Origin came out on 2011

ME, ME2, BC2, MOH, SIMS 3, etc are all pre origin games, hence being on Steam, since origins release almost all EA games have required origin to play.

Honestly Origin isn't so bad anymore...
People mostly complain because now they need two programs for their games instead of one.

Three! Don't forget Uplay. I did and now I can't play Blood Dragon without going through some hoops 🙁
