So I've seen some user got the monitor to 75hz at 1080p by overclocking it
So I wonder if I overclock the monitor with the res of 1024x768(which can run 75hz without oc'ing) will I be able to run it with more than 75hz refresh rate? And how much will it be able to run at?
I'm deciding to buy it secondhanded from some guy but won't be able to try it before the purchase :/
Yes, I am CSGO player and I play with that low res haha

thanks in advance! :)

No. resolution has nothing to do with the speed of the display. This is not a CRT :)

Isn't this up to Pixel Clock though, or that is just the bandwidth of the connection? So the maximum refresh rate of the monitor will be the same at every resolutions?

Yes. LCDs do not have a resolution actually. The pixels reamain the same regardless of what you send to them.
Referesh rate is determined by how fast the crystals can change states. And if you're thinking teh controller may be involved, remember it has to control teh same amount of physical pixels.

This has always been the answer I was looking for mate, I get it now :)
thank you sir, appreciated :)
