Is bigger reservoir enough to compensate for smaller radiator for watercooling?

Hi there!I have a question about watercooling system build.
I have a nzxt h440 and master case maker 5t....So I was wondering if I put smaller radiator in maker 5t in front, like 280mm,could bigger reservoir be enough to compensate heat dispensation or should I just keep with h440 case?

Solution
The only thing that will compensate for a smaller radiator is to move more air over(through) it, which means that your fans have to spin faster. The faster the fans spin, the more noise they make, which negates one of the reasons for using water cooling in the first place.
There is only a finite volume of liquid moving in a closed loop. So if you add a bigger reservoir, while you will delay the ramp up in temperature (due to a longer time for the increased amount of liquid to cycle through the system), it will still reach the same temperature eventually. So in the long run, no, a bigger reservoir should not impact the temperature.

The radiator/fan is your exclusive source for heat dispersion. If you decrease your radiator size, you decrease the surface area available for fans/air to disperse the heat in the fins.
