Is changing a psu hard?

Hello guys I purchased a pc today it has Intel i7 4770 cpu 8gb ram 2tb hard drive I want to add my gpu gtx660 ftw but the psu is 220 wat which if I do add my gpu I know the pc wouldn't be healthy I have purchased a 500 wat psu I was wondering how hard it is to change a psu could I mess up the whole system ?

Pretty simple. 4 screws out, unplug everything and remove. 4 screws in and plug everything back in. Probably the easiest hardware swap besides memory.

Agreed, process is extremely simple. As long as you have the wattage down, minimal room for error. Just don't kill yourself.
