Is cheap thermal compound dangerous ? And how much is enough ?

Hello, yesterday i posted a question about my problem, that i cleaned the thermal compound by mistake (that came with the CPU AMD 8320), so someone in the forum told me to buy a thermal compound quickly and stop using my computer, well i bought one, and i applied it, but i have some important questions please :

1. The thermal compound that was with the CPU was "Brown", the one i bought is "white", is there any mistakes ?

2. Here is a picture of the one i bought, is that enough for my AMD 8320 ? or should i buy more ?

3. The one i bought is about $0.29, is it normal for a thermal compound to be that cheap ? would it differ ?

Well check your temps if they are high then the thermal paste is not a good one, to be honest is wont really matter as long as you didn't put too little or too much it should be fine, the more expensive ones just have different things in them that help transfer heat energy across.

Cheap is not; unbranded generic is. Very little (a small drop) is needed; no question of buying more.
