Solution
A Chromeboook is a Linux based Google product which will not run Windows software and a netbook is a miniature laptop which can but which can also run Linux opperating systems.

Not quite...

A net book is a mostly unused (now) term for an underpowered, small form factor laptop usually using Intel ATOM chips (but sometimes Pentium/Celeron or even AMD chips). Usually they are under 13" and cheaply made. The OS can vary, but Windows 7/8 32bit is common, as are various flavors of Linux (including Android, Ubuntu, and even chrome os)

A chromebook is a netbook or laptop "optimized" for google's chrome "OS". Basically it's a stripped down version of a laptop that can't do much more than run a web browser, and has between 8 and 128GB of storage space (usually 16-32). Some versions have enough storage and high enough specs to actually install Windows 10 on, but usually you'll have to do a complicated WIM install if you want to run Windows on it.
