Is compatible MSI P67A-C45 and GTX1080?

Hi Guys, is compatible motherboard MSI P67A-C45 with GTX 1080 and is it good idea bo put it there, I mean if full potencial will be performed? I have 500 PSU. Thank you

It will work.
There is no such thing like using mobo potential. Loosing your GPU potential might only happen beacuse of low amount of RAM or slow CPU which for example are not able to keep up with your GPU.
