[SOLVED] Is Core 2 Quad better than i3 and i5?

No, they are even older than your processor, they are from around 2008

Core 2 quads are mainly an inexpensive upgrade to older lga 775 core 2 duo and pentium systems.
They can perform decently in games from 3-5years ago but not games from today. They perform like 1st or 2nd generations i3 cpus. They are not worth putting in a new system, so i would avoid them unless you are on a really tight budget.
