Is core i5 4570 and 1050TI still good in 2017-2018?

My current setup is an AMD FX-4300, 8GB RAM, HD 7850 1gb Video Card
Want to upgrade into intel - plan to buy a 2nd hand i5 4570 then a brand new 50$ 1150 socket motherboard and 1050Ti?

Is it worth to updgrade into i5 4570 in 2017?

My requirements is to play BF1 and PUBG in high/ultra settings with 40+ fps?

It's not too bad this year, but it kind of depends on your own expectations for the most part.

i5-4570 is okay, but if you can find any other Intel i5 4000 series for a better price try going for that instead. Won't make much difference.

1050 Ti does 40+ fps in mid/high settings at 1080p in most games.

I found a 2nd hand i5 4590 for 20$ more? Is there any significant difference?

4570 = 80$ 4590 = 100$, is the difference in performance worth the 20$?

I would take the 4570 for $80. Not much difference.

Alternative is an i3-8XXX and MB and DDR4 in the spring when the cheap non-OC MBs appear. Or one of the "balck Friday" Ryzen packages with Ryzen, MB and Memory.
