Here's my build list:

Someone recommended to me, but instead of using Nvidia GTX1060, I chose AMD Radeon RX580. Is that appropriate? Will the CX650 handle the pressure? This is a budget PSU. I love the price, but do I need to spend more in terms of safety? I don't want this thing to catch on fire or anything...

[quotemsg=21471464,0,182540]Yeah, the TX is good. It's a quality PSU. Will run your system fine with no issues and have room to spare.

You could go for something like this too:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

Power Supply: EVGA - SuperNOVA G3 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply ($73.89 @ OutletPC)
Total: $73.89
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

Just as good, and a little cheaper.

Thanks!

EVGA G3 is good solution. My G2 fan was noisy but I could just disable it and i always stayed below 50% load (375W for 750W unit).

*but, the G3 solution changes the profile:
https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=220-G3-0650-Y1

So instead of turning on at 50% load with a noisy fan it turns on at 20% load and ramps up nicely.... almost like people COMPLAINED about the G2 model.

You shouldn't exceed 325W which on the graph shows as 17dB which is whisper quiet for a fan. So the PSU will be dead silent or whisper quiet depending on load.
