It's my first time to build a pc and I am thinking for the future to overclocking my CPU.
CPU: i7 9700k
Motherboard: ASUS Prime Z390-A
Cooling: CORSAIR HYDRO Series H115i PRO AIO Liquid
case: NZXT H500
CORSAIR HYDRO Series H115i PRO AIO Liquid is enough to handle overclocking the i7-9700k to 5ghz?

Thank you

Yes, the H115i (280mm radiator) will be enough to get your 9700k to 5.0 Ghz. However, the temperature will be a little high (around 75~80C) under full load Prime95 version 26.6 small FFT test, but certainly nothing alarming.

In real world application, you would never reach that load anyway so your temp won't be as high as it shows on the stress test.

Speaking from a personal perspective, I used to own that exact same...

Speaking from a personal perspective, I used to own that exact same AIO liquid cooler and the same case!
Appearance-wise, the H115i looks awesome. Performance-wise, I found it to be a little lacking. I recently switch to the Evga 280 clc (same 280mm radiator size), which offered me close to ~5C reduction in CPU temperature. This may not be the same for everyone.

I have a 9700k and a Corsair h115i. It actually is amazing in cooling my CPU at 5Ghz keeping my temps around 50s at load. I have pushed my build to 5.1 and it barely hits 70, high 60s. I'm thinking on checking 5.2.
