is corsair rm850x is good psu?

Hello everyone,
Before buying new psu, I want to make sure, on the corsair site say no different between rmi and rmx except the corsair link, but i couldn't find rm850x on the list, just rm1000x.

It's a good unit, but was overpriced when it first launched. How much are you paying for it? What other components do you have in your build?

It's a very good power supply. In addition to Corsair Link, the RMi also does have a better fan than the RMx. But they're otherwise identical designs.

in my country rm850x cheaper than rm850i about $27-30
here is my build: i3 6100 CPU (upgrade soon when i7 7th generation arrive), gigabyte ga-z170x gaming 7, asus strix rx 480 08g, ddr4 8 gb (upgrade soon 16gb), 2 hdd, 1 ssd.

I want 850 watt psu for future upgrade.

The rest of the components are the same. Equally good.

You really don't need an 850W PSU, even if you were to add a second RX 480. There's no harm in having an overkill PSU beside the fact that you're paying for power you'll never use. PC components are only going to get more efficient as time goes on.

Thanks for advice, can you recommend how much wattage PSU do i need?

As things stand now, 550W would cover you, but I'd go slightly higher than that so you have room for expansion.
