This is my current build:
A320-hd2 mobo
Ryzen 3 2200g procie
8gb 2400mhz ram

Corsair VS450

I found a very good deal on AMD R9 280x.. I may upgrade my PSU but will it run for the meantime? Any advice?

Solution
That PSU wattage is too low for that GPU, and the VS450 is horrible quality. You are looking at 315w just for the CPU and GPU alone. A full system is going to push you over 400w. Just a quick example. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/g2gcxG If corsair is what is easiest for you to acquire, the CX650m would be an excellent budget option. Seasonic 620 evo, or an Evga G2/G3 650w.

There's a big problem here. In addition to concerns about the fairly low quality of the PSU, the 280x is an extremely power-hungry card and some of the ones with a bit of an overclock can draw nearly 300W at load. There are at least four versions of the VS 450 that Corsair has sold, one with only 360W on the +12V rail, two with 408W, and the newest one, specced as 432W, but rated at 30C (the others are rated at 40C).

When you're really pushing a power supply, the quality of that power supply becomes that much more important. I would not do this match.
