It isn't the drive but your motherboard M.2 PCIe 2.0 x2 limitations that won't allow faster speeds. Thanks alot , but i need it for rendering ,UI and virtual machine. So i want best performane.
Would you recommend me the best one , in order to use all the m.2 speed ?
Thanks alot , but i need it for rendering ,UI and virtual machine. So i want best performane.Yes you could boot from the M.2 PCIe drive.
I have tested several M.2 drives in motherboards with PCIe 2.0 x2 speeds and the max speed reached:
Sequential Read: 890.MB/s
Sequential Write:810.MB/s
So you won't be able to reach Crucial P1 (2,000/1,700 MB/s ) max speeds, but you might not see the difference with higher speeds in every days tasks anyways.
