I have gigabyte h310. S2h with pci gen2 x2. I searched alot for best m.2 for gen2 x2. Finally i choiced crucial p1 500gb .
Is h310 support boot from pci ?
Can the h310 reach the p1 max speed ?
Thanks in advance.

Solution
Thanks alot , but i need it for rendering ,UI and virtual machine. So i want best performane.
Would you recommend me the best one , in order to use all the m.2 speed ?
It isn't the drive but your motherboard M.2 PCIe 2.0 x2 limitations that won't allow faster speeds.
The H310 chipset is geared to the most basic of systems not for performance.
Yes you could boot from the M.2 PCIe drive.
I have tested several M.2 drives in motherboards with PCIe 2.0 x2 speeds and the max speed reached:
Sequential Read: 890.MB/s
Sequential Write:810.MB/s
So you won't be able to reach Crucial P1 (2,000/1,700 MB/s ) max speeds, but you might not see the difference with higher speeds in every days tasks anyways.
