Im really interested in purchasing a titan X from them, even though it turns out to be $200 more I dont mind paying that later on, but at this time I cant afford to put 1k up front. I'm doing game dev and 3d art and my current gpu died so I have no choice

The shady thing is they need a copy of your drivers license, I never really heard of that

Everywhere I try to find info about this site I cant really see any reviews of someone successfully ordering from them. Only thing that comes up is people saying its a waste of money to the person asking if he should do it. So please I would really appreciate if someone can tell me if they think its a legit service and not talk about weather its a good deal.

Has anyone used it?

This may be a little off topic but if buy now pay later is what you want then you should really look into getting a 0 Apr 12 month credit card as you wont have to pay the extra mark up plus you will own the gpu outright.

Hmm well my credit is not really established and I dont really have any family members with good credit so I dont think I will be able to qualify for one that gives me 1 thousand to work with, which is the reason I'm considering cutting edge

You have a bad credit and the website is allowing you 1000$? Sounds sketchy. Also if i may add, if you cant afford a gtx titan now chances are you wont be able to pay it off in a few months. Just buy a gpu with money you have or saved at least the card will be yours.

I will be able to make the 100 / month payment. That is not an issue. But saving 100 a month to buy the card would take 10 months and I really need a high end card for game design right now.

Only thing stopping me from purchasing a 980 out right is that I read the 980 ti will be coming out in 1 or 2 months (or maybe even september/november) and it will only be a few hundred more with comparable power to the titan X.

A feature of cutting edge gamer is that you can send the card back and put a new one on lease at any time for no additional cost other than starting a new lease.

Those prices are ridiculous. Get a small bank loan.

Yes, Cutting Edge Gamer is legit. I own a company and I lease from them for my own personal business needs. They need your DL to protect themselves from fraud. I mean come on, the are handing over a $1000 gpu for $112. But seriously, yes they are legit. Personal information such as a copy of a DL is standard practice for lease agreements.

I just ordered a 980 last week and it arrived in 3 days. A license was needed for me as well and it is due to the lease agreement. Read the contract carefully their are some very interesting penalties if you try to keep the card without paying. You can also cancel your lease by making a double payment. If you really want to take a crack at game design do not let anything stand in your way. Get what you need and get to it.
