Yes and no. Short term, yes. Long term, the Corsair CX line was made by CWT (not Seasonic) using some inferior Samxon capacitors that don't like heat and are known for early failure. I would not put one in a gamer, particularly operating in the upper portion of its range. I'd get a Seasonic (their own or XFX) or Superflower (their own, Rosewill Capstone, or Kingwin Lazer) unit instead.
