Is DayZ Standalone Better Than the DayZ Mod?

So i have been assembling a fairly decent gaming computer that will be able to handle most next-gen games at ultra high settings but specifically to play DayZ at a very high frame-rate. However, i never stopped to consider whether the DayZ mod is better than the Standalone?

yeah, since .60 it's been running fine
