Is DDR3 1866Mhz Compatible on my Intel DH77KC?

Hi! I have an Intel DH77KC motherboard. According to the site, it supports DDR3 memory but only 1066, 1333, and 1600 frequencies are written.

It has an LGA1155 cpu socket. And my CPU is i5-3570K.

My question is that, would it support 2 x 8Gb 1866Mhz DDR3 RAM? Would it underclock automatically?

Here's a link for the mobo's specifications: http://ark.intel.com/products/59506/Intel-Desktop-Board-DH77KC

Would really appreciate the response so I could cancel my deal for tomorrow if ever it is not supported. Thank you!!!

Details on memory module memory chip architecture (x8 x16; SS or DS) are not easy to find.

It is usually best (easier and quicker) to use motherboard memory QVL (where available) and/or memory manufacturer website memory searches to find compatible and tested memory for the motherboard.

Here are some results of compatible memory searches for the DH77KC motherboard -

Crucial

G.Skill

Kingston

There will be other compatible memory (including those models not tested by the above memory manufacturers) around. But it would take quite a bit of time to research the memory chip architecture used on these other memory modules, and there is no guarantee of finding required data either.
Assuming the memory is otherwise compatible with the system, higher frequency memory will be (or should be) down clocked automatically to match the highest native frequency supported by the system (1600 MHz).

But if still wanting 2 x 8 GB (dual channel memory), then it will only support DS (Double Sided) modules; SS (Single Sided) modules are not compatible and will not work in this system.
