I watched something about higher ram gives better performance for Ryzen but the supported ram of Ryzen is 2400 not 3200

I need to overclock the ram to reach 3200 but I'm gonna buy DDR4 3200 do I still need to overclock? The RAM that I'm gonna use is this G.Skill Ripjaws V 16gb Dual F4-3200C16D-16GVKB but the motherboard doesn't have the 16GVKB thing on the compatibility it only has 16GVRB does that make a difference?

Need to? Probably not but I suppose you could if you wanted the additional performance.

So i can just select the default ram speed of my ram and not overclock it?

I have just completed a Ryzen 7 1800x build and Corsair Dominators at 3000Mhz and still don't recognize my XMP profile. It's very difficult to get them stable above 2133Mhz which mine default to. I've tried every combination of Primary Timings and voltages and no luck yet.

Devs are continually revising Bios and depends on the MB if your SPD will work at their rated speed atm.
I have tried various settings and Bios revisions with no luck.

Get what's available and tested on the MB QVL and update your Bios at each revision as new RAM are coming out each month. Make sure you can return the kit you get if your having issues.

Damn. I hate flashing bios cause I'm scared that I might brick the MB.

Well in my country we have a thing going on with earthquakes and it's becoming more frequent right now so I'm really scared of flasing my bios lol.
