My motherboard is sitting there. Myself unsure if i should continue. The bracket wont fit the backside. Will i be fine without it? Or will it come tumbling down on my gpu?

Never mind I do believe the backplate on the back on my board serves the same purpose once you unscrew the plastic bits on the top. Or at least thats what this one video makes it out to be. So I think i have it figured out. If I’m wrong id appreciate letting me know. It’s my first build. Stressful lol.

The plastic bits on the top are the CPU processor retaining brackets. Yes, you remove those. The AMD backplate you leave on and use it. Same procedure as the AK400.
