I have i5 3450 on a Asus H61 board. So basically i am replacing my Stock Intel fan to DeepCool GammaXX 300 and i am not sure what the 95 W specification means. Anyway, my question is, it is good enough to bring 10-12 Celsius cut in temps, not looking for any dramatic improvement just 'enough' and will it be compatible with my board or is thier something i should know now before i buy it.

Thank you.

The GammaXX 300 will work just fine with your system and will definitely bring your temps down significantly. I looked it up on Hardware Secrets and they seem to like it a lot... They says it's very quiet and will cool very well for people not looking to do extreme overclocks. They even gave it their silver award.

The i5-3250 is a socket 1155 chip which is 100% compatible with this cooler. Looks like you made a good choice!

Here is the link to the article where I found the info: http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/Deepcool-Gammaxx-300-CPU-Cooler-Review/1558/1 They tested an i5-2500K at 4.0Ghz with this cooler and it only hit 56c under full load.

I hope this helped!
