Is difference worth the extra cost?

AMD FX 9370 8 core processor vs
the AMD FX 9590 there seems to be a huge price gap, will it do that much better?

No. Save money and get the FX 8320 or 8350. Neither are worth the extra cost over the 8350. The 8320 is the best value of them all.
