After many hours of seaching and trying to figure out how this whole psu cable thing works, i'm writing a quick post to hear whether anyone is able to just put me to rest and tell me if these two PSU's are compatible; I've got the G2, and i'm asking if I can use cables from the G5, specifically the PCIE vga cable that goes into my gpu.

I understand that there's information on the evga website, but lord almighty do I not get how to read the way they've put it up. Only thing i'm positive about is that G2/G3/P2/T2 are compatible, but is the G5?

Solution
Absolutely fine to use as long as the cables are identical (6 pin/8pin/EPS /Power). Highly probable that EVGA bundles the same set of cables with both the PSU retail units, so you are good to use.
