:hello:

My rig:

Intel Core i5-3470 + ASRock B75M-DGS
Kingston 4x4GB 1600
Intel 330 Series 120GB SSD SATA3
WD 2TB 64MB Caviar Green (3 Yrs)
Sapphire HD7950 3GB DDR5
CoolerMaster HAF 912 Combat Edition
C.Master Hyper 212 EVO (Turbo Edition $75)
FSP Aurum 600w
DELL 23” U2312HM IPS LED (5 Yrs)

Is the PSU enough to power it? or should I get the seasonic x760?

Also, if the 600w is enough, is the FSP Aurum 600W recommended? or are there better brands? :bounce:

Thanks!

How about Seasonic X 560W?

Is it better?

It's not a bad PSU by any means, in fact it's very good, just not great. whether or not i recommend it really depends on how much it's selling for. anyway, here's what i would definitely recommend...

you can get it pretty cheap with the promo code and MIR. it's a bit overkill for your current rig, but it has 4 pci-e connectors so you will be able to crossfire your 7950 if you so choose.

@Augray37, I dont intend to crossfire though. I don't use multiple screens.

If the Seasonic 560W is good enough, then I think I'll stick to it. Moreover, I'm from Singapore. Newegg doesnt ship here, if I want it, have to use 3rd party shipments.s

Thanks for the advice! :D

I'm now looking at Seasonic 520W S12II (Bronze) vs Seasonix X series 560W (Gold), is the X series worth the extra cash in the long run?

@anort3 Thanks for the advice! :) Ill stick with the X560 then. it will cost about 50 to 60 more, just my rough estimation.

But would the X660 be too much of an overkill then?

With a single HD 7950 you only need a recommended 500w power supply. For 2 in Crossfire you need a recommended 700 watts. So the 560 is fine. I would still keep the FSP though.
