Hi,
I want to know that is the AMD fx-6300 still good for gaming.
I am going to buy a GTX 750 ti. I want to know that is it better than i3 because here in India, the Intel CPU'S are very expensive, so fx6300 is the only choice I got.

Also, the motherboards of intel sockets are fairly expensive than the AMD one's

Here's my build :-

1. FX 6300
2. Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P Motherboard
3. MSI GTX 750TI
4. Kingston fury 1866Mhz Blue 8GB
5. WD Blue 1TB
6.Corsair CX430
7. Asus Optical Drive
8. Circle CC 820

Thanks for the help in advance :)

You can use any H110 board you want that supports DDR4 memory. I like Asus boards the best and have always used them so I recommend them when I can.

If your on a budget the amd is fine, like the person above said the 750ti will be the biggest problem. A amd 6300 can easily handle a gtx 980 without bottleneck. My friend uses a 6300 and it handles any game he throws at it
