Is FX8350 compatible to X1PD Motherboard?

In fact, I do not know about the hardware. The processor of my Pavilion 15-ak103nt laptop computer was damaged. The technical service offered to replace it with the FX8350. FX 8350 is a desktop cpu.... I would take that laptop to another store, I can't image what they would do when they try to fix it.
