Yo im about to buy a new monitor, and i decided it will be 1080p 144hz but idk if i should get g sync monitor for overs $200 more. Is gsync really worth it? Is screen tearing so noticable on 144hz? the mone i save i could invest in something else. The monitor will be for gtx 1070.

Solution
especially with G-Sync screens they also come with ULMB

general rule is: can you comfortably afford it? do you have the cash just lying around otherwise and were planning to spend it anyway? get it.
if it's a stretch, don't.

Tearing is going to occur no matter what hz non-g sync monitor you use.

I would just watch this video and decide from there, its pretty accurate I have a 144hz gs ync monitor myself (Acer predator) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QU8dnhFZKmM. Now, if you are playing fairly static games / strategy games like Starcraft II, civ V, its not going to matter. But anything else, racing games, FPS's, etc, you may depending on whether your eyes notice.

well if you do alot of fast paste fps shooters you will be able to notice screen tearing and i dont know if youve experienced screen tearing but it feels horrible..... downside is theres a slight input lag for gsync so if youre a competitive gamer i just suggest a 144hz

I personally wouldn't. As someone said to me, unless your really picky and have the money, it will be annoying but not the worst thing in the world. Plus, its $200 dollars more...
