[SOLVED] Is GeForce gtx 1050 2gb better then Radeon HD 6850 ?

Solution
GTX 1050 is way faster than HD6850, which has comparable pixel-pushing power and texturing to the GT 1030.

Note the regular GTX 1050 is nearly twice as powerful in everything vs. the GT 1030, so even the gimped 2GB GTX 1050 is going to be way faster than a GT 1030--which is comparable to the HD6850 only with double the shading power. So we are talking 3-4x faster in shading and almost 2x in pixel and texturing. It's not even close.

The HD6850 is only a 1GB card, which is pretty small nowadays. And it's also only DX11 feature level 10_1 too, so more comparable to a DX10 card like the GTX 285. Whereas the GTX 1050 is a full DX12 card that supports G-sync and FreeSync, plus VP9 hardware decoding for Youtube videos.

Thanks for the great information about both cards. I'm going for the gtx 1050
