[SOLVED] is GForce 610 enough for new monitor?

Someone I know is much younger and a gamer and swears by the advice he gets here so hope I am not too unlearned to ask --- Just ordered a Acer ET322QU Abmiprx 31.5" WQHD (2560 x 1440) IPS Monitor with AMD FREESYNC Technology, 75hz -- all in the description. I am an old timer that is not very tech savvy but wondered if anyone could advise me.
My computer is a Cybertron (and no I am not a gamer, just liked what this included at the time) CybertronPC Borg-Q Gaming Desktop - AMD FX-4130 3.8GHz Quad-Core, NVIDIA GeForce GT610, 8GB DDR3 Memory, 1TB HDD, DVD±RW, Microsoft Windows 8.1 Home 64-bit.

My question is - do I need to upgrade or replace the GForce video card in the computer to be able to access the quality that is available in the Acer?? I mainly watch videos, research, help with very basic websites and play simple oldtimer type of games like on places like BigFish.

I hope to get the best of what these two can offer -- any help would be appreciated

the gt 710 was the cheapest I could find and I see I forgot the link. sorry

a few dollars more doubles the RAM

with a 100 dollar budget you could get a decent low-mid level gaming card like this RX 570 after rebate

100 vs 50 dollars.
the RX may require a power supply upgrade. the GT 1030 is low power and in budget
and still a significant upgrade above...

the gt 710 is a massive upgrade

the 710 is
3840x2160*Maximum Digital Resolution
pixels to spare, no power issues.

Be nice to keep under $100. Lol after 7 decades I am thrilled to be able to be here with all the new advances and heck even having a computer. I usually get many items from NewEgg so would think they might have something, I just need a suggestions as to what would work -- so it is the gt 710 to check into? I am so glad Chuck suggested this site even thou I am in no way hard core ;-)

just realized I have no idea what the costs would be - what I would like to pay versus what I would HAVE to pay often are not the same. I really hope not to have to spend something like $300 or more
