Recently bought gigabyte video card is the warranty transferable?

You can check the warranty on their site if you have the serial number, it doesn't ask where you bought it or how you got ahold of it when you put in for RMA.

Where on their site? I'm from australia and i go to australian site click 'warranty info' it jsut tells me the contact place of purchase.

Ahh... Ya, the warranty changes from country to country. Maybe there you have to go through the shop to get warranty repair.

You could put in a ticket for technical support, they would be more up to date so to speak on what your warranty choices were.

got receipt...ive sold some stuff on ebay, eg a 780gtx had receipt, and wrote on receipt sold to so and so.i think receipt is important for warranty purpose, or copy order details from website, sold to so and so. meh from AU
