games: scum pubg bf warzone 2 etcOP
depends on what games you want to play.
I expect it will be good to run games (scum pubg bf warzone maybe cyberpunk etc). budget for a new processor max €200Not really.
But, we all have budgets and buying used it may be ok.
It all depends on your expectations.
that's what you meant.by OP. I meant "opening post". Was simply referring to your post, which is the first post of this thread.
oh, I see now. Those games don't really need much. They would even run well with certain 4th gen intel cpu's.
an i7-9700 cpu should be good. Just be sure to buy a proper gpu as well.
What country are you located?that's what you meant.
I currently have a 4th generation cpu and it's not really playable (it's an i5 4690k 4.4).
but is it worth going from i5 4690k to i7 9700 or is it better to go for something stronger like i5 12400f r5 5600 etc.
I have gpu gtx 1070ti
what gpu are you using? and how much ramthat's what you meant.

asrock z97m anniversaryanother important question.. what is your monitor? 1080p or are you using 4k?
a 4th gen is the minimum requirement for PUBG.
but if you want to play the game competitively. Then you need to buy a fast 9th gen cpu. Or better, get a 10th gen or higher, if your budget can afford it.
I would look at a B660m or B760M + i5 12400F + DDR4 3200i'm in croatia
I know that I need mbo and ram and cpu psu. everything except gpa. that's why I'm asking what is best to take, which cpu 7 9 12 13 gen cpuJust remember if you go for any of the processors mentioned then you will also need a new motherboard and new Ram. You may be aware of this but I haven't seen it mentioned as part of the budget
thank you for your help. I put together the build, so we'll see if it works.I would look at a B660m or B760M + i5 12400F + DDR4 3200
or ...
B550m + Ryzen 5 5600 + DDR4 3200
Cool no worries then. Just thought it was worth mentioning as not everyone is aware.I know that I need mbo and ram and cpu psu. everything except gpa. that's why I'm asking what is best to take, which cpu 7 9 12 13 gen cpu
thanks for mentioning that. thanks for your help. I will most likely take the i5 12400f because yt and the internet say that it is better if they are not lying.Cool no worries then. Just thought it was worth mentioning as not everyone is aware.
As mentioned above I would recommend something like a 5600 / B550 / DDR4 or 12400 / B660 / DDR4 combo then.
It really depends on the game and what you want from it. If you're playing games like Fortnite, CS:GO, Overwatch or PUBG, it'll be more than fine. If you want to play Hogwarts Legacy, maybe not.is it this good cpu i7 9700f fir gaming in 2023
means nothing lower than i7 10700k r5 5600x, so towards more powerfulIt really depends on the game and what you want from it. If you're playing games like Fortnite, CS:GO, Overwatch or PUBG, it'll be more than fine. If you want to play Hogwarts Legacy, maybe not.

Then you'd want an R5-5600. It's about the same performance as an R5-5600X, R7-5700X and R7-5800X. It's also less expensive.means nothing lower than i7 10700k r5 5600x, so towards more powerful
and I want a cpu that can run AAA games
I would say no. If you want to play modern AAA titles, you should always buy new. Besides, AM4 has become dirt cheap lately:and is it worth getting a used cpu mob ram from a site like ebay
tnx for helpThen you'd want an R5-5600. It's about the same performance as an R5-5600X, R7-5700X and R7-5800X. It's also less expensive.
I would say no. If you want to play modern AAA titles, you should always buy new. Besides, AM4 has become dirt cheap lately:
CPU: Ryzen 5 5600 - $138
Motherboard: ASRock B550M-HDV - $80
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB DDR4-3200 - $40 (if needed)
So, with a modern gaming CPU, motherboard and RAM costing only $258 brand-new, just how much do you think that you could save from buying used parts from eBay? Probably very little, if anything. Plus you won't have warranties and if you buy older parts, you'll have inferior performance. This is your best bet.
