Hi I was just curious about these heatpipes I got on my GTX 260+ uhm is this thing normally hot? I hover my palm near the heat pipe and its quite hot. not so hot but as I said is this normal?

Solution
The heatpipes help transfer the heat the GPU generates away from it, to the fans. If they are hot, it sounds to me that it's doing its job.

You could check the temperature of the GPU itself, using something like GPU-z. If these temps are fine, then you have nothing to worry about.

Its stating two GPU temp I dont know what to look at. thought the temp of those two is not really far from each other.

One of the temps is the one reported by the driver, the other one by the sensor. I see the card isn't under much load here.

Can you try stressing the card with something like furmark and report the temps you get then?

Ah I see. Ok I'll go search first how this furmark works then I'll post it again here.
