Is GPU-Z from Techpowerup safe to download?

I am looking to overclock my GPU and am looking for a software to monitor my gpu temperature. I have found GPU-Z and it looks very good and simple. My only concern is that i am not sure if downloading the software from "techpowerup" is safe (I am probably being paranoid here)

Well the software itself were made by the guys from techpowerup (TPU). So it is the best place to get the latest version of gpuz or to ask if you have any problem with the software.

Techpowerup is reliable and I've used GPU-Z myself. If I remember correctly, Techpowerup does is that it downloads a downloader to download GPU-Z itself. Unnecessary, I know, but it's reliable and safe.
