Is gsync that good

I've gamed on a console all my life and I'm just wondering if they get screen tearing because I don't want gsync if I've never noticed it before is it worse on pc? Thanks p.s the gsync is for a pc

Gsync is only worth it for 1440p IMHO whereas a 144hz panel is fine for 1080p,that's if you can tolerate a tn panel.
