Solution

Well, not really he's using a better CPU than you, an I5 3470, much better than your 2400, so a 1050 ti or even a 1060 wouldn't bottleneck him much, only in CPU bound games like GTA 5.

It should be fine, however it all depends on what games your playing, one game might not show any bottleneck at all then another will. So what games are you playing and what else are you doing? The we can tell you more accurately.

Well mainly fortnite PUBG and just cause 3

What i5 specifically? a high end 3rd gen i5 should be fine but if its a lower tier one it might suffer a bit.

I think i5 3400

Did you mean an I5 3470? there isn't a 3400 on Intel's website. Well according to the bottleneck calculator, there will be a slight bottleneck, not much they recommend an R9 280x or R9 380. You should be fine though I wouldn't worry its only a small bottleneck and it will only show in CPU bound games like GTA 5.

OK thx now I can upgrade it

Feel free to.
