I want to buy a new GPU and i have the budget for gtx 750 ti. Is it good for future gaming? I mean will it handle future directx 12 games as it is DX 11.2. I don't have the budget for GTX 950. I need only 720p gaming with decent FPS. So if I buy this can i use it for at least 2 years?

Solution
The answer to your question is yes and no.
It will work with all current games on some level of settings but no one can tell you if it will be true in two years.
there is slightly faster, newer and similarly priced RX 460 (~100$).
you can also wait for nvidia's launch of 1050 which will compete in that range or will drive the prices of 950/960 down toward 100$ mark

Currently there is a GTX 950 in newegg email promo for $89, plus free game :)

I will also add that I currently have 3 750ti's in my collection. EVGA 750ti shorty single fan. EVGA 750ti FTW, and also the MSI low profile 750ti in my htpc. use a gtx 960 on my main right now.

what other card within your budget you can get? 750ti is entry level card for gaming back in 2014. it's position has been replaced by the like of 950 and AMD new RX460. the card is compatible with DX12. anyway the card already one at the bottom of the barrel when it comes to performance it will depending on what type of games you want to play.

While I agree the 750ti is fairly weak by today's standards I think people have ignored the fact you're only interested at 720p.
That's half the pixel count of 1080p & the 750ti performs better than the above comments would have you believe at that resolution
