Is GTX 860M = GTX 750TI?

So I was asking like 2 weeks if gtx 860 was a match to gtx 960 or no, but some people told me that gtx 960 so and they also said that gtx 860 is similar to 750ti, is that true?.

860m is just a fraction weaker than a 750Ti. 860m is just slightly lower clocked than a 960m.
970m is very slightly weaker than GTX 960.

You can't use them in the same machine. 860M is a mobile chip and the 750TI is a desktop card. What is the point of making the comparison? As a general rule Desktop video cards are always faster then the mobile ones.

Then I don't really get the point, some says you can't compare desktop to mobile, but in another thread they said both were equal?

Its just that laptop cards are stuck within a smaller space and have access to less electricity so they can't get the same max performance as their desktop equivalent. These comparisons are mainly helpful for checking the required system specs for games, but they are not precise.

The 900 GTX and 900m GTX Maxwell series are suppose to be really close to each other in processing power. Before that the m ones would run a lot slower then the full card versions. For that matter there wasn't even an 800 series for the desktop cards. The reason you can't really compare them is because you can't put the 980m and the 980 in the same computer for testing. And since you can't replace the mobile ones just buy the highest cost one you can afford that has all the other feature you want and the fastest video card available.

I already got the laptop which included the card. the card is fine enough for my uses tho, still don't know much about gtx 750ti 's performance.

Basically, when you look up recommended specs for your game and it says GTX 660 or 750Ti recommended then it should run fine on your laptop. 860m is only slightly less powerful than both of those.

If it says 670 or 760 recommended then you will need to play on lower settings.

If it says GTX 770 recommended then it might not work very well on your laptop.
