Is gtx 960 and 960m same?

Please, someone explain it to me what's the difference between those 2. I though a GPU with 'm' means it's for laptop, but why does it seems slower?

Why not just google to two parts, the 'm' version to cut down for a laptop, thermal headroom, power usage etc etc

The m stands for mobile, so they are the ones that are in laptops and they tend to be quite a bit weaker than they're desktop counterparts.they also will put out less heat and draw less power.

The 960m is about 60% of a 960.
