IS GTX 970 COMPATIBLE WITH INTEL Q65[i5-2400]

I HAVE INTEL i5-2400,dell optiplex 790,4gb ram.What upgrades should i need in my system For gtx 970

I recommend another 4GB of RAM and possibly a new power supply depending on what kind you have.

if the mobo has PCI-E x16 gen 2.0 at least slot , it will fit on the mobo . Other requirements , 500W good PSU at least and the card size must allow fitting in the case

YES IT HAS PCI-E 2.0x16 SO IF I BUY ANOTHER 4GB RAM AND PSU OF 500W IT WOULD BE ENOUGH OR I WOULD NEED TO MODIFY MY SYSTEM

from what i found : the good : it can support 8GB , the bad PCI-E x16 slot is limited to 35W in some models (standard is 75W) hence GTX 970 might not run . You might need a new motherboard . i dind found the PSU .

Look at at the socket type . i5 2400 is 1155 . the mobo must be of the same socket 1155. Then look at the CPU support list.

Since the RAM is DDR3 , it can be re-used .
