Is h81m-e34 compatible with i5 4460

i'm going to upgrade my i3 to an i5 4460, but some people told me that my motherboard would not have enough "power" to run my i5 and wil ruin it. They talked about power phases or something like that. Is that true ? Do i need to buy a new motherboard ?

Yes sir it is compatible. Both use the 1150 socket

It is a low end motherboard, it lacks some features, but it is not true that it won't have enough power.
