Is Half-length, Full-height, PCI slot same as PCI Express?

I getting a Lenovo M57 which says it has a "Half-length, Full-height, PCI slot". I have an ATI HD4550 1GB PCI Express graphics card laying around. Is it the same slot size?

According to Lenovo, here are the slots you have

• 
  Slot 1: Full height, PCI Express x16
  Slot 2: Full height, PCI Express x1
  Slot 3: Full height, half length PCI
  Slot 4: Full height, half length PCI

So "yes you have an x16 pcie slot for your graphics card" and "no the half length pci slot is not a pcie slot".

That's not the same specs I'm seeing, It says One full-height, half-length (short card) PCI slot, provided by riser card.

I'm installing Linux with a new hard drive, I don't need it for games or anything graphically intensive. I have a spare video card laying around and just wanted to see if it would work.
