[SOLVED] Is high performance energy option bad?

Hey People, If i turn on high performance energy setting in windows, will it cause my pc parts to break faster or not?
Will it cause any issues

Heat is an enemy of electronics.

If whatever is done raises temperatures then the lifetime of any given pc part may well be shortened.

Especially if the pc is not properly cooled due to design, insufficient fans, blocked airflows, etc..

Another common problem is having a PSU that cannot support the pc's power requirements at some "high performance energy" setting.

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS.

Include PSU: make, model, wattage, age, condition.

Explain more about what you are trying to do and what apps and games, etc. that you are using and playing.
