I was planning on buying AMD RX570 Nitro+8gb but someone has told me that my current motherboard (HP G1 800) is not compatible with a 8 pin connector PSU

Yes, HP uses their own type of motherboard power connector and PSU. If you're getting a common PSU you will also need an adapter

I think what Traditore means is that......you buy the proper PSU for your GPU......and you buy that adapter.....which will connect to your motherboard on one end....and the PSU on the other end.

You will be using YOUR motherboard.
Thanks mate.!!
So I just need to buy an adapter and I shouldn't be concerned about anything?[/QUOTE]
