Hi All,
I need a laptop for gaming and programming.
So, for my budget (~85k INR), I came across HP Pavilion dk-0047tx. Since, this is a fairly new laptop, there are not many reviews which could help me with the choice. Could you guys please let me know if this is laptop is as good as it is on paper? If, not, then which other options would you suggest? Planning to get from a local retail store.
Thanks in advance.

HP Omen 15 or Lenovo Y540 is what i would recommend.

but if you are not tight budget, you can consider Asus FX505 with GTX 1650 and 512 GB SSD.

I personally like the design of the HP Omen 15 more than the Lenovo Legion Y540. The Legion logo on the edge doesn't look very good but it's 1 TB SSD model is amazing.

HP Omen 15 is superior to HP Pavilion Gaming 15.

Little bit more expensive but worth it in my opinion.

As compared to Hp pavilion 15, it is.

but the same level of performance, you can get from Asus FX505 which is way cheaper.

On that website you are getting HP Omen 15 (GTX 1650) for ~ $1170
and on hp.com currently the HP Omen 15 (RTX 2060) goes for $1099

So, may be now you know what's value for money and what's not.

Well, in India, these things are costlier. Also , I avoid buying expensive items online because after switching to third party sellers, I have had terrible experiences with both Amazon and Flipkart.

The difference shouldn't be that much actually.

That is a limited time offer.

At what time and from where you buy also plays a big role.

Both the laptops fit in your budget but I think Lenovo Legion Y540 is the best deal for you.

It's camera placement is not at the right position but apart from that, it's a very good gaming laptop.

Lenovo Y540 is less expensive than the other two, right?

Yes, on amazon it is.

Just depends what model you choose.

Both have pretty much the same hardware but why pay more when you can get something better for a better price?

The choice is up to you.
