Question Is i5 6400 bottlenecking GTX 1060 3GB OC?

I have a i5 6400 and a GTX 1060 3GB OC and I'm wondering if the i5 6400 is bottlenecking the GPU when gaming in 1080p at a 144 or a 240Hz monitor?

If so is it worth upgrading to a 6700K etc?

Generally no, it won't bottleneck that GPU but it can struggle at times depending on the games you play. (CPU intensive games like BF1, BFv, Civ 5)

Correct. Your setup is plenty for games that fall into the same category. An i7 6700k would be a very nice jump in power but the problem is even used they are selling for premium prices right now.
