I'm doing an upgrade. My friend gave me a Mobo (MSI Z170A PC MATE) so I'm using it.
I'll just get the i5-6600K, because you have to do an update on the mobo to make it run the i5-7700K right?
Now to the actual question. The site where I'm buying everything has the HyperX Fury 2133, 2400 and 2666 MHz RAMs at the same price. The 2133MHz one is CL14, the 2400Mhz and 2666MHz are CL15, I don't know anything about what is better. help?
The i5-6600K max is 2133MHz according to intel, is this true?
If it is should I get the 2600MHz anyway (for later upgrades) and just run is at 2133MHz, or would there be a possibility of that affecting my computer's lifespan?
Also, I'm just going to play online games, the most demanding one will be PUBG, so the RAM speed will not really matter right?
My GPU will be a GTX1050ti, not that it matters.

Solution
its like a rule the faster the RAM the higher the CL. old slow DDR no 2,3 or 4 just plain old DDR had a CL in the single digits. the 6600k can be overclocked so you can use the faster RAM without issue. if you get 2133 and overclock the CPU you will be overclocking the memory too. if you plan to overclock get the faster RAM so you are only pushing one piece, the CPU.
